Hey y’all! I wanted to share with you guys a nice treat that I’ve been indulging in lately. As usual, you know I can’t keep secrets from y’all. The dragonfruit smoothie bowl that I am sharing today is simply delicious and I am so happy to let y’all in on the goods.

I’m on my last day of a 14 day 75% raw cleanse and the raw meals have basically been smoothies because smoothies are life and are super easy to make. And this dragonfruit smoothie bowl has been a saving grace for when I’m craving sweets.

Dragonfruit, also know as pitaya, is a tropical superfood  that is ideal for a cleanse because they are high in fiber and aid in digestion. Fiber helps to maintain a healthy body weight by aiding in flushing your body of waste. So whenever I hear fiber, I am always in!

Because of this cleanse I have lost 10 pounds, my skin is thriving and my mood has increase thoroughly. It’s a win on all fronts!!!

Anyways here’s the deets on this yummy, tropical dragonfruit smoothie bowl!

Dragonfruit Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 Packet Pitaya (frozen)
  • 1 Navel Orange
  • 1/2 Banana (frozen)
  • 6-8 cubes Mango (frozen)
  • 3-4 cubes Pineapple (frozen)

Toppings

  • 1/2 Banana (sliced)
  • 1 Kiwi (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup Granola
  • 6 Blackberries
  1. Place the pitaya, orange, 1/2 banana, mango and pineapple in a processor and blend. (I recommend a processor over a blender because the processor will allow a thicker consistency which is ideal for smoothie bowls)

  2. Transfer the smoothie mixture to a bowl. 

  3. Add toppings. 

  4. Enjoy!
